Main Components
Formulas vary among manufacturers. Common ingredients are listed below:
Organic solvents: acetone, isopropanol, xylene, toluene, butyl acetate, ethylene glycol ethyl ether acetate, etc.
Some products contain petroleum ether, alcohols, styrene peroxide and other substances.
It also contains rust inhibitors (mineral oil, silicone oil, etc.) and lubricants.
Main Applications
For cleaning spray guns and tools, and thinning paint liquids. It causes no damage to tools.
Suitable for coating production lines, resin paints, paint pipelines, hardware paint stripping, electroplating mold release, etc.
Widely used in electronics, precision machinery manufacturing, copper / stainless steel processing and other industries.
Types
There are six common grades: Heavy-duty, Medium, 99%, 97%, 95%, and 85%.
Notes for Use
It has an irritating odor, is toxic and harmful to the environment. Wear a gas mask during operation, and thoroughly clean contacted skin after work.
Corrosive. Do not store in plastic containers. Not for hand washing; it may injure skin and cause severe chapping.
It may cause discoloration of clothing, use with care.
Flammable. Risk of fire and explosion when exposed to open flame or high heat. Store away from ignition sources and heat in a cool, well-ventilated area.
