Product Description

Rubber surface treatment agent can improve the bonding strength between rubber and pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes after surface treatment. It is a bonding treatment agent suitable for natural rubber, hydrogenated nitrile rubber, EPDM, polyurethane rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber, cis-butadiene rubber and other rubber materials.

Mixing Ratio of Powder B

Mix Powder B thoroughly at 0.15–0.2% by weight.
Note: Once Powder B is blended with the base agent, the mixture must be used within 5 hours; otherwise, it will lose efficacy.

Instructions for Use

1. Add ZS-201(B) to ZS-201(A) according to the above ratio and stir until fully dissolved.
2. Apply the prepared ZS-201(A/B) solution onto the bonding surface of rubber. Normally apply 1 to 2 coats and leave to air-dry for several minutes at room temperature.
3. After the coated rubber surface is fully dry, attach double-sided tape or other pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes to the rubber part and press the adhesive contact surface with moderate force.
4. The assembly will be bonded as a whole after standing for about 2 hours. The bonding strength reaches its maximum after 24 hours, and the process is basically completed.
5. The treatment agent must be fully dried before screen printing or paint/ink spraying; otherwise, poor adhesion will occur.
6. This product is complementary to one-component rubber treatment agent. If this product does not work on a certain type of rubber, try the one-component rubber treatment agent.
7. For rubber substrates with poor adhesion, wipe the surface with slight pressure or wipe repeatedly for better results.
8. Keep away from open flame during use to prevent fire hazards.
9. Store in a cool and dry place.
10. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wash thoroughly with soap and clean water after contact.
